Psalm 86:15 But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. Take a minute As we live life, things are not always easy and we encounter troubles and trials of various nature at different times.  We can find ourselves being troubled by how others have treated us, things they may say to us, or about us.  It can be easy to let ourselves get angry, react in ways we would rather not, that do not honour our Lord and saviour. Let us take Psalm 86:15 to our hearts and strive to live as our father in heaven and our Lord and saviour do.  If we follow in the example of our God we should be compassionate and be gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. We should not let our anger get the better of us when we are wronged or we find things pushing us towards anger and lashing out.  We should let ourselves be slow to anger and show love to others as our Lord and saviour has shown to us when we do wrong. Heavenly Father, help us when we find ourselves pushed towards anger and thoughts or actions that are not compassionate and loving, to take a minute before we react or speak and remember your example in Psalm 86:15 an respond in a way befitting of the calling we have received that honours and glorifies you.  Amen
